Well, London IS my Boyfriend.

So, will try and write about other stuff than the fascinating (well, bits and bops still) single life. And tell the world about my true love, my hometown since 3 years, my future and my life: London.

So, how can London be a boyfriend? Well you know, LA has got all this cred over the years: Frankie Boy cheerishes it in "L.A. Is My Lady". The Red Hot Chilli Peppers start off "Under the Bridge" with a tribute to the same city "..sometimes I feel that my only friend is the city I live in, the city of angels". See what I mean? So this will be MY tribute to London.

I suppose you feel that your city is your partner when you step out of your brick town house on a sunny Saturday morning and feel the very particular London-smell: smog and people and you just get a big Zing in your chest. 'Cause you know that whatever you do today, it will be wonderful. Within easy reach you can take a stroll around Kendall House in Hampstead and enjoy the views and also pretend you're in the Land of Narnia. Or you can put on your ol' Doc's and go up to Camden and say hi to the punks. Or you can put on your poncy Pashima scarves, big glasses and stroll down to Sloan Square. And just feel... RICH. And you also know that within the same easy reach are some of the world's best exhibitions waiting for you to pop by and have a look at them, and on a Monday night you shouldn't be surprised if one of the world's best bands happens to have a gig at some of the million venues.

Having London as your boyfriend means you're never alone, he always entertains you and takes care of you. He lets you be who you are and loves you regardless. He encourages your interests and comes up with new ideas, no matter what crazy new thoughts your ecclectic brain has come up with. He is sometimes a bit difficult and expensive and sometimes also very scrubby. But a bit of challenge makes life so much more interesting too. Right?

Love
